RYLA 2026 – Rotary Youth Leadership Awards - 2

Following the successful execution of its first RYLA programme, Rotary Bangalore JP Nagar, in association with the Rotaract Club of Bangalore JP Nagar, conducted the second RYLA session as part of its continued commitment to youth leadership development. The programme was held on 30th January 2026 at Capitol School, Main Campus, JP Nagar, commencing at 9:30 AM. The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) initiative is a flagship Rotary programme designed to nurture leadership qualities, confidence, ethical values, and a sense of social responsibility among young individuals. Building on the momentum of the earlier session, this second RYLA aimed to further strengthen these attributes through structured interactions and experiential learning. The programme focused on inspiring students to recognize their potential, communicate effectively, and develop a mindset geared towards collaboration and service. Through guided discussions and activity-based engagement, participants were encouraged to think independently, work as teams, and understand the importance of responsible leadership in their academic and personal lives. Members of the Rotaract Club of Bangalore JP Nagar actively supported the programme by assisting in coordination, facilitating student engagement, and ensuring the smooth conduct of the session. Their involvement played a key role in maintaining an energetic and welcoming environment for the students, while also allowing Rotaractors to practice leadership through service. The presence of dignitaries and guests added immense value to the programme, serving as a source of motivation and inspiration for the young participants. Their interaction with the students reinforced the core message of RYLA—leadership rooted in values, integrity, and social awareness. The second RYLA session successfully reinforced the objectives of the initiative and reflected the sustained efforts of Rotary and Rotaract in empowering youth. The Rotaract Club of Bangalore JP Nagar expresses its gratitude to Rotary Bangalore JP Nagar and Capitol School for their support and looks forward to continuing its involvement in future RYLA initiatives.
